Looking for ideas on managing power cords especially the transformer box. Do people mount Them to the wall Inside their aquarium stand? I will have a total of seven or eight between the light fixtures and the pumps. Thanks

Maybe a transformer box isn’t the right name but this is what I’m talking about

There's this thing called google..haha
Following advice from google can get you into some bad situations. I feel more comfortable bringing it to a Community such as this one where members hold each other accountable for the information posted.

I installed a piece of plywood in one side of the legs of my stand. Attached the controllers to one side, and the ac to dc adapters with wire duct to the other side.

I've since added a quarantine tank, 500 watt pc style power supply, and battery backup that isn't quiet as clean as these photos. I would do it again for the simplicity, adaptability, and expansion potential of a sheet of wood.

P.S. be sure to leave easy access to the cords for the pumps for removal and cleaning.

I attached eggcrate to the inside of my controller stand then used velcro strips to hold the power supplies. This allows air flow around the power supply as they tend to get warm sometimes. Wires and cables I'll secure with sticky backs and zip ties.
