Reasons for zooplankton to expel?

What reasons would cause them to expel from the shroom? It’s only this shroom I didn’t change anything other than I removed two cups and replaced it with water. Although it was expelling before that I had my window closed and then when I saw it opened it back up no ammonia spike or other parameters worth mentioning. All my other shrooms are perfectly fine other than this certain one
