I wanted to get some info from others with experience with this food..

will they readily reproduce in an aquarium?

is there actually 1000-2000 in there? (because I see no more than 20-30 when I look in the bottle)

I used them to seed my 75 gallon a few years back. They really seemed to jump start my pod population. I never had to add any more though. IMO once you have your population you should not run out if you have places for them to populate like macro in the sump, porous rock or piles of rubble rock(pod piles) in the corner of your tank. I had a mandarin goby and yellow wrasse in my 75 and never had an issue with a dwindling pod population.

I use them along with others. I have a smaller tank with wrasses and dragonettes, I supplement a bottle of tigger pods every month or so. I add them to my refugium, or when the lights are out in the display.

well I got some in a mix up in my order from reefcleaners today and got 2 of them and just poured them in my tank. I have a base ball sized piece of red Titan macroalgae at the top of my tank.. but that's it for now.
