Hey fam!

So I decided on the IM 240 display with 75 gallon sump. Really excited. Will be starting a build thread soon.

I was hoping to come up on about 200 lbs of Aussie live rock, but the wholesale connect fell through and I can’t justify $25/lb.

On my Red Sea (so happy to be getting out of that tank before failure) I used caribsea. I have had incessant hair algae problems and I think it is leaching nitrate and phosphate back into the water.

So outside of Carib sea, what would you recommend I go with for rock?

Congrats on the new tank!
To avoid the uglies, you might consider a dose of freshly harvested ocean farmed live rock and sand. Goes right into the tank, no curing process.
