Salt Mixture

So, I've moved this to the open forum. It's not a hard one, or very puzzling. I made up 45 gal of a known Reef Salt. Mixed in a close dark trash can with a small pump, didn't use it and shut it off. More than a month past and I turned the pump on to mix it again, with in two days the water started a Bio Cycle. So would everyone just dump it out and make a new batch? or once all the values go to zero could I use it. All the elements are still present. Just what to make a good practice and no change bad water with stored water?

what do you mean it started a Bio Cycle?

I always stored salt water for weeks.
