Hi everyone,

My midas blenny is showing see-through spots on its fins. Started with a small mark and Its slowly getting worse. The fins have holes but are not missing parts so it doesn't seem like bite marks.

It’s moving around actively and eating.

I could view the video - what other fish are in with the blenny? How long have you had the blenny? Has it been treated with anything yet?

Circular lesions like that often start with an injury of some sort, followed by a bacterial infection that tends to grow in a circular fashion. Flukes can even cause this.

Agree with jay's analysis and also noted this fish is very thin especially for a blenny. If fish is eating as you indicated, what foods are you offering?

I have had the blenny for a about 2 years. Its fed a mix of pellets and sometimes frozen food. I have never treated or anything in the tank with medicine. The other tank mates are a purple tang and a diamond watchman goby. I have not observed aggression between the fish. No fish have been added in the past few months
