Small "creature" found crawling on rock!

Depending on the species, they can be good or bad. (some eat coral) My personal experience is that mine don't eat coral, and they actually munch on my algae. But if you find one, there are probably 5 more you don't see in your rockwork.

Another one will be along shortly. Then another. And then... well, you get the picture. I gave up trying to get rid of them - but they're only swarming in any great number at night, and I've not seen them do any damage, so I stopped worrying.

If you are very worried, I would find some harlequin shrimp if they get out of hand. They eat starfish, but once there are none left, they will start to starve.

I have tons of these in my tank. They get on the glass and eat algae. Never ever had them touch a coral. Beneficial in my opinion. Unlikely you will get rid of them. If there’s one that big there’s probably a dozen more of various sizes
