Hi guys! This is probably a stupid question, and I'm sure it's been asked often but i figured id ask anyways rather than have problems later so here goes... I started filling my new tank. When I check with the level, everything's bang on. But when I measure the water level, the front left and both back corners are 11" from the top, but the front right is 3/16 lower. Is this close enough? Or do I need to get the front right corner to sit higher? The tank is 5' long, a waterbox 190.

Thanks,

That’s seems strange. It shouldn’t be possible for three corners to be at the same height and the other one off. After all, three points are sufficient to define a plane. It suggests that the tank dimensions themselves are off that much (which seems very unlikely) or the tank is flexing (which would be alarming). I would double check your measurements.

If you leveled it properly prior to water.

1. tank is flexing
2. flooring is flexing (mine does)
3. user error lol

3/16 lower is not bad.
Ideally we want it perfectly level. But I've seen much worse leveling...
Ok so it's all good! The problem was my tape measure... it's 11" in both back corners and 10 15/16 in both front corners...

is 1/4 inch discrepancy from the water line from one side to the other in a seven foot long tank something to be concerned with?
