Good morning, Heathens and happy Wednesday!

Today's arrivals from @Williamson’s Reef were delivered, as per Keith's usual, extremely well packaged, happy, and healthy; and super CHuNkY!!

They include:

TSA Bill Murray
TSA Carolina Reaper
WWC Electric Melon
SDC Monsters Inc.
TJM F-Stick
JF Jolt

Keith?!
I was hoping they were run by Leah, the lioness Captain. As a fan of the England women’s team I am deeply disappointed….

Great question. You have to assume that not every frag comes from the same tank. I hold this to be true regardless of the vendor, and it is always just a part of my routine.

I drip acclimate them individually. After chemistry and temp is within range, I dip them, individually again, using Potassium Chlorode (KCl). Then on to the rack at about 150 par.

Ah yeah, if shipped that makes perfect sense. I tend to buy everything locally currently, mostly because I have a lot of trust in my LFS - their systems are pristine, but you pay a premium for it.

How many of you scrape your back walls? Peninsula people need not apply.

I'm thinking about it, as It is starting to plate in places and slough off in sheets.

I do. Except when I don't, then I don't.

My approach is; let the back do what it does, get disgusted/annoyed by it one day, clean it, proceed to ignore for X amount of months, repeat the above steps.

New tank has been up for 3ish months, back has yet to be cleaned.

I usually just let the coralline grow and only scrape if I need to attach something or it starts to grow some undesirable.

What is this scraping that you speak of?

Yeah, that pretty much sums up my approach. I'm afraid I might like the look, and then that's one more thing to clean. I'll ruminate on it for a bit.
