Only about 2 months into my saltwater tank and I did my first small water change yesterday. Now my toadstool hasn’t opened all day and has a slight film. Is it shedding? Or possibly stressed? Pretty new to all
Of this

Toadstool need a good amount of flow to help it shed. Your tank looks super clean, toadstool likes 'dirtier' water, meaning there should be some measurable nitrates and phosphate. The coral looks white so I question if the lighting is adequate.

Can you post your water parameters, type of lighting ad flow?

Holy thank you for the reply, the moment I read it it occurred to me. I had put a pantyhose on my power head I can’t remember why but the moment I took it off my power head actually began working. This has solved both my problems of inadequate water flow along with it now getting rid of bubbles at the top of my tank. The coral looks white because I didn’t have my light on but I have a Al coral blade grow light along with my Fluval circulation pump. Problems seemed to be fix thanks for the help!!!! (Put an old picture of my tank with the light)
