How can I get this guy to attach? The last time the rubber band was to tight and it ended up cutting a part of him of after about 4 days. Now I have it much looser but it’s still digging into the coral. Not sure how to attach it without damaging the coral any further. This is the first leather coral I’ve bought that hasn’t been attached to a substrate.

Take two pieces of rubble and sandwich him between the two and secure the two pieces of rubble with rubber bands. The downside is it will likely attach to both pieces of rubble. This has happened to me before and that seems to work well. Keep us posted on how he does.

I usually cut the rubber band then attach by tying it, using just the right amount of tension... much easier this way..
