What are these black rocks on my coral frag

Could someone please help me identify these black rocks on my coral they where there when I got the coral I was told they are just rocks from my LFS or could it be poxy to hold the coral on the frag plug or should it be somthing to worry about. They have not moved in the week I have had the coral

Are they hard or soft? Do they expand/contract at all? Do they have visible holes/tubes on them anywhere?

They are hard. Haven’t noticed any change in size or holes/tubes thanks
