Good afternoon,
Still preparing and setting up my WaterBox 25 Peninsula, and I’m planning to go bare bottom; I have ~20ish pounds of live rock and am close to filling it (have the saltwater ready + all equipment, just had a dilemma with the stand I purchased that caused delays lol) and I would like to know which bio media worked best for y’all¿¡ Leaning towards these (below) due to the somewhat small quantity and good price but the reviews on Amazon were very worrying with something about Aluminum... What options could work well in a smaller aquarium or am I limited to only the ball options¿
Hope everyone who reads/replies has a great rest of the day¡

Also would like to know what is your preferred way of rinsing this type of material since I don’t want to deal with powder residue.... Is it rinsed like rice but with ro/di water? Or soaked? Feel like this is an item that shouldn’t be experimented with post aquarium cycling so lmk¡
