What snail cleans your glass the best?

Just like the subject lines asks... what snail cleans your glass best and why? I'm trying to be a lazy reefer and want the best of ther best for clean up crew.

Trochus, turbo, I’m sure there are others.

My turbos never left my rock. My trochus did clean the glass along with my ceriths but I don’t think any snails will clean it well enough that you don’t have to do it yourself though. They just leave trails all over where they’ve been.

Stomatella snails eat a lot but they hide for long periods of time. Turbos work well for me as well. But nothing (including tuxedo urchin) clean my glass as much as I want them to.

Oh I really like these guys too... But they are for us crazy cold water guys!

I have a few large Turbos, a couple of Trochus, 4 Cowries and a Nassarius. None of them really spend much time on the glass, occasionally a Cowrie does, but that’s about it. My Sand Sifter Starfish probably spends more time on the glass than the snails. So 90% of the glass cleaning is up to me.

I notice my large ceriths every morning up on the glass. I think they spend more time there than in the sand bed...but that may be to stay away from the hermits.

Astreas seem to spend the most time on the glass but are not thorough cleaners. They leave stuff behind. I find trochus to be the most thorough of the glass cleaning snails

The kid next door that you pay to come over and clean the glass will work best. Snails are not the fastest workers.
