I apologize in advance for the pictures, but the fish has since went into hiding.
I will start by saying that all fish were in qt before being added to display tank for a week and half under observation. Then as I didn’t notice anything I introduced them. They have been now in my dt for a couple months as of today.
So my Hepatus I have noticed a week or two ago has developed the habit of scrubing itself against the rock. I have then noticed this on my sailfin and mustard tangs as well. The desjardini I never did, but today looking closely there may be a few scratches above its eyes. But as they are almost exactly alike on both sides it might not be the case.
Yesterday I noticed a white spot above the Hepatus’s eye. And today one on the back fin. These are white. I thought maybe from abrasions. You can see a couple pics. One from the side with the lesions, and one from the other side. On the other side there is no lesion, but the colour of the back fin doesn’t seem normal.
Today I saw having a bit of a “shake” as well. Not normal behaviour.
As far as aggression goes, nothing too troublesome, mostly the sailfin and the mustard sometimes push each other around.
What do you think and what would you do?
Tank is very large (almost 400 gallons), lots of rockwork so catching fish would be a tough job.

The photos really are not clear enough, and a bit too blue for a positive diagnosis, but the symptoms sound like flukes.

Do you have access to any medications that contain praziquantel?

Ever hears of it? Doesn’t mention coral though, although it says it works for marine tanks
Shoud work - Just look at package on back for any precautions and add aeration with air stone when using it

You can try five minute freshwater dips - but you need to move the fish to a new tank, if you move them back to the same tank, they’ll just get reinfected. Hyposalinity will treat flukes, but you can’t do that in tanks with invertebrates present.

Oh - I just saw this post. Yes, that will work. The only issue is their instructions, from what I can see, is incorrect. You need to dose twice, 8 days apart, with a 25% water change prior to the second dose.
