I recently added a tiger pistol shrimp and a yellow watchman goby in my 75 gallon. They both burrowed right when I added them. Given it's a 75 gallon tank, should I try and target feed where the burrow is for the next few weeks until they are more out in the open? Right now I don't even see the tiger shrimp. They don't necessarily always come out together, right?

I have a pair of yellow watchmen and a red and white pistol shrimp. My tank is only a 20 gallon so they are both there waiting every time I feed. I’ve never seen the shrimp eat, but I know he gets food. If it were me, I’d target feed their area.

They should be fine with broadcast feedings.

I’ve got the same combo, originally I had the goby in a 24 gallon cube, added the shrimp about 6 months later. They were fast pals and have since been moved into my newer 210 gallon system. There is no need to target feed them, IMO, unless you feed very lightly and nothing reaches the bottom. My goby is very alert for food and while I have never caught the shrimp eating it has tripled in size.

I target feed my pistol shrimp and YWG half a pellet, works every time and they seem happy

Agree, I target feed because otherwise only little pieces end up at the bottom given the other hungry mouths (frozen food), and they are pretty big now after 2+ years.
