Found the owners of the stray dog
His name was Apollo, family of 7, yes that's right, 7 kids camping from 45 miles north.
I guess he jumped out of the camper.
We wondered how they didn't know he was missing but with 7 kids it's not a wonder.
Just glad he's home.

What kind???

Onion/garlic chopped and sautéed. Add Ground angus beef and cook till just not pink, add about 5-6 spices (family secret), including salt/pepper with filtered water, simmer 30 minutes. Taste, adjust seasoning.

Shredded cheese - either Mexican crumbled or cheddar shredded (depending on mood),

Thinly sliced scallions
Thin wedge of avocado
Thinly shaved iceberg lettuce (sprinkle red wine vinegar or Braggs vinegar right before building taco so lettuce stays super crisp).
If tomatoes are in season, chopped or sliced,
Various hot sauces.

Corn tortillas fried in peanut oil or combo of canola and olive.

Light dusting of shredded fine Parmesan cheese over whole thing

I never add the tomato to mine though

I had a cheeseburger. Swiss cheese slice, shredded lettuce, and mayo on some artisan bread rolls my daughter picked out. We're up at my sister-in-law's house and her husband cooked elk burgers on the smoker. Chips and salsa, fruit, and baked beans for the sides. Chased with a can of Black Cherry Soliel carbonated water.

After that, the kids shot some archery. We figured out a couple of my daughter's issues so hopefully she'll be good for the tournament she's shooting tomorrow.

This diet I'm on is very strange so tonight I cooked a pound of bacon and poured the grease onto a pound of wings and baked them in the oven.
The girls loved them but I just had bratwurst and pellegrino.

Most of us like meat, either for meals or part of meals. It's cool.
