So I can't tell what this is on my blue hippo, currently have him in copper and am slowly ramping up to a therapudic level. Curious if anyone knows what this is and if I need to expedite my ramp up? He is eating fine the last time I fed him.

Could be a couple of things. Hippos are known for developing skin conditions from the copper. Or could be a bacterial infection setting in. Keep a close eye on the area. If needed Kanaplex is very mild and treats bacterial infection nicely early on.

Thanks for the reply, he ended up dying last night. In pretty sure it was a bad bacterial infection.
