I recently made a post about an aqua sd incident but I’m wondering about one of the corals I got. Does it look like it will make it? I can’t find anything else online that looks like what it’s doing.

Is it a supposed reddish brown polyp with green center candy cane? If so it will probably recover as long as your tank/ light is adequate for coral health.

If it’s supposed to be an all green candy cane then it doesn’t look healthy to me and it’s probably going to die. But candy canes can come back from near death so if it dies back some dont just toss it, give it time.

This is heavy recession and can be due to a few issues such as:
Light too bright, insufficient water flow, elevated nitrates, low salinity, low ph and even starvation. They do best at lower third of tank under moderate light and water flow
This was two heads when I got it:

Allow it a couple of days to adapt to your settings
