My display is an IM 75INT (36” x 22”x 19”). I’m currently running an MP40 which theoretically gets the job done. However, running at higher % can almost be too much. Im also concerned about variability or dead spots even in RC mode. I’m contemplating adding a second MP40 or another pump and running both at a lower rate just to introduce a little more random flow. This will be an SPS dominant system. Thoughts?

I have a 36" tank too and run 2x Maxspect XF-330 Cloud Editions. One on each side facing eachother about an inch beneath the surface. Not a dead spot in the house and more than enough flow for the tank...

I don’t know much about the MP’s but they are a good pump. SPS like flow. I would get another MP40 just so you can control with the same app. Set from the other side and in a different position like further back and at a different height. There is a lot of turbulence on a reef, we have to tone it down a little or our sand goes crazy.
