Glass or acrylic

I have a 240g advanced acrylic, it has been setup for 3 years love it. The mighty magnet (not cheap) but works great, just stay away from the sand. I use a plastic scrapper close to the sand and on Coraline algea.

You think it be okay to put a scopas tang in a 40x18x15 tank ?

I would caution against it. Tangs like swim room, generally I recommend at least a 4 ft x 2 ft x 2 ft tank minimum, but better off with a 5 or even 6 ft long. Anything smaller than 4 ft is kind of like confining a medium sized dog in a single room in the house with no outside time...
