I don't even have the first idea how to frag a toadstool! Nothing sticking out from it to cut off. Otherwise, yeah, I'm working on my (slow) process for getting frags ready for shipping out to people--not for sale, just for sharing.
Yeah, I have zero first hand experience fragging them either. Just have been obsessed with them and watched a thousand youtube videos about it. It seems like a rather brutal process that leaves the mother toad ugly for a while when it heals.

This is one of the better how to videos I have found.

This'll be a busy week.

New lid and new to be made and new Plank Feeder ordered! Wrasses should be very happy soon. Thanks @AVAST Marine Dan for helping with the AIO design! Can't wait to see how it works!

AND, new Black Widow split! $$$$$. That will help with the setup.

Berghs seems to have eaten at least 2 of the Aips, still a few I can see, though. No pods on the glass!

Here was my Friday night trip to the office to add the pods/berghs:

I've got hairy starfish and bristelworms!

Also a smaller Eunice worm species
Screaming Vincent Price GIF by Turner Classic Movies

I love how the meaty corals open up at night! Lobo and Trachy were on full display. Even the recovering scoly was open. Of course I had to feed them. Can't stand hungry mouths.

And it's Monday morning, so first thing I did in the office was dump Dinkins Phyto + ROE + PacPods + ArctiPods + OysterFeast + PhytoFeast into the hungry tank. Trachy says thank you:

Couple of tank pics. I took the 1 hr acclimation period for the bergs to clean the office. Note: I did all of this only under red light!

Plank requires 2 outlets and the one for the plank needs to be programmable down to minutes or less, just an FYI

Thanks Mothy! That's what the Techbee timer is for at the bottom of the Amazon order. It is programmable to set up a countdown timer in seconds at intervals throughout the day. At least that's the idea. Will have to play with it a bit.

Yep! The Plank should run for less than a minute unless you have a higher food need. I'm planning on running my Sicce for probably 15 minutes or so to make sure it gets a good stir and discharges as much of the food as possible.

I have a wifi strip that I'll use for the pump. 15 min good enough? probably play around with it and see how it does.

A plank is on my list of future upgrades as my fish stock list increases. I have heard it is a must if you want to keep anthias as they require multiple feedings a day to thrive.

Beautiful build... I will have to start at the beginning when I get home and get the kiddos tucked this evening. I have a few Build threads I wanted to read/Catch up on as its been a long while since I have been back in here. Simply a stunning tank, well done!

Sorry if I missed it have you moved away from your dosing pump setup for feeding purposes?
No and Yes. My feeding regimen has always been pumping in liquid food and dropping TDO pellets from an Eheim feeder.

When I removed the clowns and put them in prison, they went with the Eheim feeder since their food preference is NLS Thera+ pellets. So the the main tank only had the liquid doser feeding and I manually added TDO pellets Mon through Fri.

For the past few weeks, though, the Reef Nutrition ROE, which is their staple and favorite food, has not been good. It is all empty transparent eggs that the fish ignore. I first thought it was a bad batch of ROE after I cleaned out the tubing with H2O2, rubbing alcohol and H2O flushes and still bad eggs being dosed. But then I found out that it is likely a problem with the dosing head--I think it is crushing everything going through the head, maybe because of a kink or something in the dosing head tube. I am going to try to change that out, but for the meantime, I am now only dosing PacPods and ArctiPods from the doser since they don't get crushed like the ROE, and I am dosing ROE manually.

Instead of a new Eheim, I always wanted a Plank feeder to feed reef jerky. So that is coming this week to replace the Eheim. That will also give me a bit of time to sort out the problem with the doser. Ideally, I would find the time to switch out all of the tubing and cables to replace the Reef Factory doser with the Simplicity doser, but that is just a huge time sink I can't manage at work for now.

End goal: Back to dosing ROE + PacPods + OysterFeast + PhytoFeast, and hourly small feedings of Reef Jerky from the Plank
