So I haven't moved the clowns over yet from the Evo, I'm letting them keep the cycle going. I plan on ordering some last few fish that I can't get locally and I'm going to use the Evo as an observation tank for the newcomers. It's mature enough that there's plenty to snack on for any wrasses. I want a melanurus, hopefully another leopard, a carpenter wrasse (mine jumped) or something smaller for the cube, and a foxface. If I need to medicate I can catch easier and use a clean 10g and not risk the whole 75g population. If things get contaminated I was breaking the tank down anyhow so I can toss the sand and dry the rock.

Same thoughts. This happens all the time with change, I'm honest once but if they insist they are right with the wrong change then I keep it. I figure, it's my fee for dealing with an idiot.

Oh that's a great example, that blank stare as if they don't know what to do with coins.

I've lost 3 clams this year. 2 from AquaSD (derasa bought in Jan and hippopus in Feb). Had a crocea from Clammania in with the hippo and it also died. I am suspicious of a clam killer in the tank, since they all died at around the 2 week mark, but maybe disease...?

Definetly a serial clam killer on the loose!!
Hope that something changes or you figure out the culprit behind the senseless attacks!

I plan on bringing some half shell clams into the office one night and dropping them in, seeing what comes out of the rockwork. I know I have some gulf worms that MIGHT be suspects. Also need to see if there are any predatory snails. Maybe if I sit there long enough with my red flashlight I'll pick out the culprit and catch it.

I've been trying to find photos of my monster when I first got it vs now. I love watching the wrasse grow. Can't wait for the leopard - she's already 2x the size I got her but she's got quite a way to go still...
