My 55 gallon saltwater tank

My 1 year old 55 gallon tank. New to the hobby slowly learning more & more looking for any tips. Would like to add some corals have no clue where to start. Having problem with sand being dirty just got 6 turbo snails to see if it makes a difference.

Fluval 307 canister filter
Aqueon heater
Aqueon Circulation Pump 500 gph
Sand is caribsea arag-alive Fiji pink. I have
1 Niger trigger
1 Scopas tang
6 Turbo snails
& does anyone use the fake plants? I put em in because my wife wanted to but not sure about them.

Looks great. I am not a fan of the plastic plants. I had them before and they just looked dusty after algae has its way. Always wanted a trigger. Way to go
