Welcome to R2R! There are lots of fish that go well with triggers; angels, hawks, puffers, tangs, butterflies, etc. most decent-sized fish are okay with triggers. Unfortunately the same can not be said for most invertebrates and corals. Corals are certainly a big draw in the hobby but there are a lot of advantages to a fish-only tank. Cost and complexity are the two biggest advantages. Filtration can be more basic, flow and light can be much less demanding even chemical water balance can be simpler with a fish only tank. Niger Triggers are one of my favorite fish. I'm running a mixed reef currently but think about setting up a fish-only from time to time to have some of the really wonderful fish that are not 'reef-safe'. Good luck/
