There has been a lot of conversation lately about Red Sea aquariums and faulty seams that sometimes lead to catastrophic failures. But it's difficult to reach a consensus because the conversation often gets muddied with crosstalk. Please only vote for the category that suits YOUR experience. Do not use "I know a guy" logic to vote. I would like this to be as accurate a representation as possible (of the user experience from our membership), so please spread the word and have people vote.

I have a Red Sea Max S-500 since 2017 and never had seam issues. The old C-skim was pretty bad but apart of that I have no complains.

So, you're saying that R2R would cover up a post that is neutral in stance just trying to get real data?
oh I know what your trying to do. I 100% agree was just saying I would be surprised if it allowed to continue.
I hope I am wrong.
let's see. if a tons of people join in I bet it gets shut down if people are tired of talking about it the thread might peter out.
IDK guess we will have to see.

You guys can keep the comments coming. Just don't argue over who's right and who's wrong... I don't want this to devolve into things like class action suits and whatnot. I just want it to reflect the nature of the situation however that may be...

When you're the best there is always someone trying to take your crown away.

Maybe... I mean it definitely could be a case of that, it could also be a well founded fear... The point is we don't have any hard numbers to know one way or the other... I have no dog in this fight, I have never owned a red sea tank, but a lot of the back and forth lately has just made me curious, but it also added a bunch of noise to what might be an important topic

I just don’t see how this “data” is any different than any other thread. It only represents those who are on this site and see it and care to vote. To that end, of those who vote, how many are being honest and not partaking in ballot stuffing for their agenda or for fun?

What percentage of global owners is that? Nobody knows.

Nice thought, but this will just be tossed on the pile of RS arguments.

THE RED SEA 500 IS A SOLID AQUARIUM BUILD. THERE PROBLEMS WERE WITH THE GEN 1 REEFERS.
