Do you have to replace the rolls?
Yes. Speaking of, just walked in the house and the roll tried to rotate but hit the end lol. I am doing better than i have been. Averaging 7 days now.

Anyone use a Reefmat? If so, how long is your roll lasting? Ours is only lasting about 2 weeks... Ugh
I've got a Reefer 200 Gen 2, and according to the app I use an average of about 13in a day. I have it set to the smallest increment change. The reefer is so dang finicky, I figured out having it set to the smallest change keeps my overflow happy.

So what's the advantage over just having several pair of reusable socks? Their easy to wash.

Well, they're supposed to last about 5-8 weeks. So just replace and go. Like replacing a roll of toilet paper. No other cleanup. I like it, but never had sicks so can't compare

I wish thats where i was at but i have way too many fish. I was over 250 inches a day for a while. It’s weird, i never changed settings and havent fed any less. The only thing ive changed is running more gfo to keep my phosphate under .1.

Also, someone suggested turning down the return to decrease the amount it uses. Said they went from 80" a day to 30. I turned ours down, we'll see what it does tomorrow now.

And i have a 30x30x30 cube tank and my stand is only 33 x 33. Space is limited for me and i think this is more compact than socks would be.

I use 10 socks. Throw the old ones in a bucket with water and bleach. Get down to my last pair and wash the ones in the bucket in washer with bleach..then rinse a couple times with water only.

Yeah the less water you run through it the less it will filter and the less it will get clogged up. Im running about 1100gph through mine. I built a bean animal overflow and bought an extra drain tube setup from Redsea and connected it so water enters from both sides. Wish i could have got the bigger reefmat but i didnt want to give up space for my skimmer and other equipment i had to smoosh into the small area i have.

Taking a step to the side, but I figure lots of people here might be truck people. Anyone have a Tacoma or thoughts on the new 2024 coming out later this year/early next year?

The socks sit in the sump.
I have very little sump space lol. Under the reefmat are several biomedia plates and where i have my probes and draw my sampling water from. Then it goes to the protein skimmer section which i built just big enough for the skimmer (also sitting on biomedia plates). From there it goes to a small compartment where i have my pump that goes to my reactors before hitting the fuge which is mostly live rock frags and ulva, dragons breathe and red ogo. Then to the return pump chamber where i have two return pumps and my UV. Im actually working on making my fuge a two story fuge where the top will be a tumbler. It would be nice to get off of gfo one day but then i would be changing water every other day.

What about the tundra did you like better, is it the cabin? That is one of the things I read the 2024 Tacoma is upgrading for once, so the interior cabin is supposed to be a big upgrade, as well as powertrain, torque, and lots of other changes.
