Black spot on blu tang head

Just noticed single black spot on my blue hippo tangs head any idea what it is

Just noticed single black spot on my blue hippo tangs head any idea what it is

No parasites cause a single large spot like that. I'd think it is an injury from running into something perhaps. That said, hepatus tangs are pretty adept at swimming in and out of coral so they typically don't injure themselves. Maybe something frightened it.....
