stalk looks too thick to be bryopsis,

TECH M----You need to have a certain level of said supplement in the system to kill bryopsis, not just Mg, so the solution is to not supplement mag for a few weeks then raise it with the tech m, if mem seves me correctly (spotty at best) it is Mag chloride that does the job, not mag sulphate, which is why 2 part or other supplements wont work.
From what I hear sidewalk ice melt is the same supplement.(mag chloride, NOT calcium chloride)
