It's a good guy. I have a few of these. Non-invasive. After a year and 3 months, my biggest one is starting to sprout a new head next to it. And I target feed them occasionally!

Does yours have the skeleton base also?
Yes, I think it is a stony coral. Perhaps a type of cup coral.
