There is nothing wrong with putting 6 of them on a tank

It’s the standard rimmed 125g. So 72x18 and 21 tall.
I ended up using 6 of the lights because my tank has the plastic braces from the front to back, so I was avoiding shadowing.

I've got the same tank as @Gtinnel and only have 3... You can definitely see the shadowing in pictures

When I first setup my tank I used 5 lights over 6 feet of tank and saw shadows from the braces that I didn’t like. I then ended up winning a 6th light so now I have a light every foot, which is overkill but I like it.
Honestly if not for the plastic braces I would’ve probably used 4 lights over my tank.
