Before I go and take the plumbing apart has anyone had any luck stopping the leak with out taking it apart? It’s leaking where the pipe goes into the bulkhead.

Shut your flow off, dry the area around where you see water seeping, Primer then PVC Glue where you think it is leaking. be liberal with the application of the glue. give it 5 minutes or so to set up, turn your flow back on. You may get lucky and seal it up.

So I looked it up it is fast setting solvent glue not the normal yellow I know. Sounds like it should be better seems meant for tricky emergency work . It states pressurized systems. Weird it leaked unless you were too slow getting it together originally. Its happened to me. I was taught to insert the pipe and give it a twist. Anyway I just put in a new sump and had that problem. The re glue idea worked the third time I built it up. Should work because really no pressure
