Usually mechanical injuries will heal given good, clean water. Keep an eye on it, as injuries can get infected.
I’d wait to see what others have to say.
My water parameters are really good right now running a bubble curve 7, filter socks, chemi blue, filter floss, have a refrigum

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

While that doesn't look infected (yet) mouth injuries often keep a fish from feeding properly and then THAT becomes the core issue.

The question then is - is the tang still eating well for you? If so, it will probably heal o.k.,

Jay
