I have one over my 50 gallon. It’s a 18” deep tank. My light is set 10 inches off the water surface. I start on 1% intensity, 0% color, 1% violet and incrementally ramp up to max 50% intensity, 50% color, 50% violet at peak then ramp back down incrementally then moon light for an hour then lights out.
So far I can grow pretty much everything.
First picture is in the morning with heavy blues without orange filter. The camera makes it look extra blue. At peak, It actually looks very similar to the second Picture with the orange filter.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
