Hi NooPsyche owners, I installed NooPsyche K7 V3 on my new nano 2 months back. The challenge is that I don't have access to a PAR meter and have no clue what am I hitting with the PAR.

Could anyone help provide a good guess on what intensity should I be keeping my lights considering the height of the lights as well as the aquascape? I'm looking for estimate on PAR on the "RED" hotspots marked. Please note, I can may be push the light higher by a max of 1 inch as I've left some space from the top for the fans.

Currently running on blues on 35%. Appreciate the help.

the corals should tell you if you have to much PAR. based off of your picture, I would get another fixture to get better coverage.

Thanks. Yes that's the plan. I'm just trying out the light to see if it's worth getting another one. My tank's dimensions do require two of these for full coverage, ideally speaking.

Also, it could also be because the light is only 6.5 inches from the top so that kind of compromises the coverage.

Not sure if this helps or not. These were my settings on my 72x24x24 with six k7s seven inches off the water. I can't find my par map but I was getting 300 on the bottom where I had clams. I'm sure some of that was overlap with 6 lights on a six ft tank. You'll need two, especially that low if you want full coverage IMO

I've since moved the lights to my new tank that's 84x30x25. But I have mapped par yet.

Could you share what was the mounting height from the water surface?

From what I can tell k7 v3 have noticeable bumps in light output at 20/40/60%. I have a nano cube 18x18x18. I run blues around 55, windex blue at 35/40 and the UV was too intense and run around 22. As for light output. I have sps growing on the sandbed near my crocea.
