I took some years off after a decade of reef keeping now I’m back and more addicted than before. Went small this time and Picked up a well established 60 cube from a neighbor, took all the coral out changed a few things and am starting to fill it back up. I scaped it with a mixed reef in mind, I have the bottom 3rd covered with low flow, low par Coral, Zoas, acan (going to add more), toadstool and euphillia. Now I’m having trouble deciding on what to get for the middle and top 3rd of the Tank. I’d really like to have acro at the top, but with the limited space im having trouble planning it out. How I have my lights set im about 100 Par at the sand, 130 in the middle and 190-230 at the top (I’m almost identical to chart posted). I have the rocks set up so the bottom is low flow, middle is medium, and the top is high flow. I’d really love to hear some suggestions on how you guys would recommend filling this.
