Hi all,
So when I try to operate the manual mode on my aquamedic reef doser all the status lights start flashing and usually a random pump of the 4 sticks on even when I release the button. I have unplugged it and let it sit for a while and plugged it back in and it is still on the fritz...

I have been running a Neptune DOS for over a year now and decided to pick up a second DOS.. while i was at it i decided to film an unboxing/setup/calibration/review while i was at it!
Let me know if you have any questions
Hi all. I have two pump related issues that I'd like some advice on. Please note that I do not currently have a controller but one may be in my future.
1) I have a Bubble Magnus with three pumps but I'd like to have the ability to dose FOUR solutions (hello, Triton method). Should I replace it...
I am looking into these more and more -- but am building out the hardware a few pieces at a time. A full fledged controller is out of the budget.
Is the recommendation still (from cheapest up):
a) 2 - digital timers, one for each pump:
Any specific references that work best?
b) DA - Reef...
While I don't necessarily need a dosing pump for an aquarium, I believe that they could work for my applications.
Basically, I have what is called a bioreactor. It is a small beaker where a mixture gets fermented.
This bioreactor requires some sort of Ph Control. I've got some Ph Probes with a...
Hey Guys,
So I've been very indecisive after selling my previous tank. Ever since the move which has been 3+ months now, I thought maybe being tankless would be some what satisfying to know my wallet is staying intact more lol . Which it has, but being tank less is very depressing, Wife gave...
Hey reefers I have a question. I manually dose my 55 gallon tank every day/ every other day depending on consumption of alk/calcium, but would much rather get a dose and have it dose daily throughout the day for increased stability. HOWEVER, I'm extremely curious, how often have dosing pumps...
Couple of weeks ago I got an idea in my head that I've been playing around with. The idea was to make a dosing pump that's Arduino/Raspberry Pi controlled. I just like the idea to be able to customize it completely and have total control over it. And maybe be able to save some money as well...

I currently run an Eshoops IV master and Slave at the moment to dose my ALk, Cal and Mag w/ a Neptune DOS for my water changes. Also, I run an Avast Marine KALK Reactor for the PH Swings on two Apex Float switches. Anyhow, I am getting ready to get rid of my Eshoops Doser & Slave and purchase...
I have 4 BRS 1.1mL dosing pumps for sale. They were all used lightly for almost 2 years. All are in good working condition, I no longer need them as I bought them with a complete setup and have no use for them.
I am asking $40 per pump and that includes shipping in the Continental United...
I know this is a pretty HOT topic!
I currently use the Neptune DOS that connected to my Apex controller. I have it pre-programmed to take out a certain amount of milliliters throughout the day. I love it but it's a bit noisy that's for sure! It's ok for me b/c mine is installed in another...

Hello all I bought a coral box WiFi dosing pump to use on my tank. I set it up to dose NOPOX last week and kept a close eye on it. I realized that there where a ton of air bubbles in the line and fluid was slowly leaking out of both ends. I reached out to the manufacturer and they said to make...
Bought this a few years ago as an impulse buy from Bulk Reef Supply and never used it.
$449.99 plus free shipping to the lower 48.
I'm going to just continue to dose by hand or possibly use a Lifereef Calcium reactor I acquired off of Craigslist recently.
I paid $639.99... ugh
Let my...
I have a new Milwaukee dosing pump available. Purchased to drain skimmer cup and broke down tank before installing. Pump is NEW but does not have original box.
$50 shipped!
I added my first frag today, it's a little frag of green star polyp. I decided to do this because I really want to take the time and see and adjust water parameters and how my tank reacts. I want to be able to automate dosing using BRS 2 part, now that sounds easy great ! Well not so fast, while...
I'm looking into applying the Triton Method with me new 60 Gallon Cube tank, I found the Aqua Medic Reefdoser Evo 4 Dosing Pump online and its seems to be reasonably priced. Does anyone have experience with this?
Long story short I'm looking for a dosing pump, I manually dose currently and life is getting too hectic to maintain my daily regime. I only dose 4ml of 2 part, and 6ml of mag each day in my IM 25 so I'm not really interested in spending the 300+ for a GHL or Kore.
I've been reading a ton about...
My current tank is a 125g mixed SPS dominant...it's been running 3+ years and have had great growth and coloration, my sticks are thriving.....and I don't use a dosing pump....I use a kalk stirrer and manually check levels and add as needed. My issue is not with this tank, I am getting an IM...
As the tittle says.... let's see those dosing setups as well as what your dosing! Let's hope this could help some people with ideas for setting up there own including me !
Hello all,
I am deep into my 50 gal cube build and have throughly planned out every aspect but I am stuck on this one. I'm trying to come up with an idea or plan on what I want or need to dose. I know eventually calcium, mag, and alk will most likely need to be dosed but what I really...
