glass aquarium

I noticed my tank had these little white specs over my glass. It's a little bigger than copepods but not sure what to do? Can anyone help me!

To keep my glass clear i need to scrape the glass multiple time a day due to fast algae growth on the glass. Is this the same for everyone else or is there anything I can do to slow down the algae? My light is a redsea50 led I'm currently keeping it at 62% blues 16% white light.
