Hi all,

I bought a frag plug of speckled kraks with some other zoas on the plug which I don’t want.

How should I go about removing them (yellow eyes)?

The local reefer had been pulling them off and using a blade, but the ones remaining are connected with the flesh of the kraks.

Thanks in advance

I wouldnt leave them. They may significantly slow the growth of the ones you like more. Are you trying to save them? Or just exterminate them? If the latter, you can carefully rip them off with forceps or gauze in your fingers. There may be some residual tissue that grows into babies but the other polyps should outcompete them. You can also carefully inject kalk paste into/onto the ones you want to kill.

And of course wear gloves and safety glasses. A good squirt in the eye would be a real drag. And a long visit to the ER.
Cheers,
