I planted the seeds about 15 days ago, my mother-in-law has one that is beautiful and produces many peppers, they gave us a bag and from there I took the seeds and put them in the sun for 2 days and then I planted them

Has anyone of you used this to lower phosphates? Yesterday I went to check the water after 1 month and it was a little high.

How do you get phosphate at 0? mine is always between 0.5 and 1.0
SPS eat phosphates, dry rock and dry sand eat phosphates, etc. Mine tend to stay at 0 so I have to dose to keep them from 0. My tank consumes around 0.09 ppm daily.

I shoot for phosphate at .05-.1 and would rather have it a little higher than a little lower. If your corals look happy I wouldn’t mess with it.

I do the same Kev but now they raised to 1.3 and I want to lower them a little, but my tank has always worked well stuck at 1

Ya, I would bring that down slowly. Sorry, I never used that product. Water changes should help as well but it is probably leaching from your rock.

I hope it will go down a little with the 10 g water change today, I also took advantage and cleaned the rocks with the same water pressure, I'm going to wait a little to use the product and maybe I won't have to use it.

Luis I have used it for years on occasion when needed.
If you want to use it I'll help you no problem. :smiling-face-with-smiling-eyes:

I want to, but I also want to wait to see if it goes down with the water change, in any case, knowledge never hurts.

Keep in mind Montis, Stylophora, Birdsnest, Digitatas, and Lepto/Pavona are all SPS. LPS and softies do use some phosphates as well.
