Want to run an ato resovior along the back of my sump but acrylic is expensive....

Would it be possible to use 15x36 1/8 inch acrylic sheets for the sides and use pieces of quarter inch acrylic, kind of like baffles, welded from sheet to sheet across 4 inches to keep it from bowing and stay b structurally sound? Bottom and top would be 1/4 inch.

I would not!! The glue joints will most likely fail being that thin at that size with baffles or not…
