If I ever get this frag tank up and running I will probably keep some utility type fish like hectors goby and springeri damsel. . . but If I didn't do that and just kept one fish in a 20 long. . . what would be a cool choice?

I wouldn’t do a hectors in a tank without sand. This is where they get their food from the majority of the time (and often they starve without it).If I were to keep the hectors in the frag tank (bare bottom and rocks drilled for frags is the plan) he would be part of a crew. . . if I was going to do a singular fish, it would probably not be the hectors. . . he would go into my display (he's currently in my tiny frag tank). I love Wrasse, but many need sand yes?
Pretty good option but he’s toast if he wants to add anything elseAs a singular, utility fish, how about a sixline wrasse?
Yeah, hence if it would be the only fish. Agreed.Pretty good option but he’s toast if he wants to add anything else
Why is there two posts at the same time lol
Also get 5 chromis, some Anthias, clowns, ...... Tangs jk
A leaf fish would be a nice addition. They are colorful and very low maintenance. They can also feed off pods without demolishing the population. If I ever get this frag tank up and running I will probably keep some utility type fish like hectors goby and springeri damsel. . . but If I didn't do that and just kept one fish in a 20 long. . . what would be a cool choice?
