My tank came pre-drilled with 60mm drain holes and 3/4" (pipe size) returns (one in each corner). I want to use tubing to connect to my pump to reduce vibration noise, but then want to use hard plumbing throughout. I only need 2ft of vynl tubing and the only quantity I can find of 3/4" tubing is for 10ft, which is way too much, so I've decided to go for 1" tubing into 3/4" pipe. What's the easiest/cheapest/simplest way to make this transition? I can find threaded adapters, but no slipxbarb fittings.

Thank you guys for all your help!

You need;
3/4" Socket x 1" FPT adapter
1" MPT x 1" Barb adapter

I'll suggest you use silicone hose instead of vinyl.
It'll be a pricy but one-time purchase and will greatly reduce vibration vs vinyl

+1 in silicone instead of vinyl, much more vibration mitigation. Id search around a little more you can definitely find somewhere that sells per ft
