$100.00 Replacement Shark 1.0 Needlewheel Pump for AquaMaxx HOB-1 a

For such a small pump, why is it $100 to replace !!! ?

My puppy (grounded now) lol,......chewed up the intake side of the pump housing, but the pump is $100. Why ???

I hope I can find just the housing than buying a new pump !

Contact the manufacturer - never know what spare parts they may have laying around!

It's just an aside, but this is one of the main reasons I still like AquaC skimmers and others that let you use any regular pump. They just aren't in vogue these days.

I called Marine Depot and he will contact them, and get back to me tomorrow, but I did a google search and found a link to Marine Depot and shows a replacment part. $40bucks.
