Some update on the tank . Just started added some new fish week ago which consist of ;
2 x flame angle
1 x flame back angel
1 x fishery angel
1 x algae blenny ( to help control algae growth on the rock )
1 x yellow wrasse ( To help control pets in the tank )

Angel fish is always my all time favorite fish which i can't resist .

I hope i can keep to the promise to myself of keeping the bioload small in this new setup. Keeping my finger cross ..

To cover up and protect the "Visible " piping from being accidentally step upon and break, i get my reno Carpenter to customize a wooden cover block to cover up and hide all the ugly piping .

The refugium tank lighted with AI SOL is doing pretty well with lots of visible pods ,but the chaeto look abit less green maybe due to the lack of nutrient in the tank.

In order to increase the distribution of water and to help maintain the consistency of the water parameter from the main tank to the rest of the two tank system, i added additional piping running on a ehiem pump which circulate water form the last compartment of the main sump tank to the two sump tank each with a ball valve to control the flow or shut the system if required.

Started the AI controller lighting setting with 50% of the white and UV , slowly ramping it up to prevent coral from beaching.

Below is my setting for AI till date after one week of slow adjustment upward.

White : 75%
Blue: 100%
Deep blue: 100%
Red: 35%
Green: 35%
UV: 60%

So far the coral polyp extension from some of the new SPS has been good

Trying out the Fauna marine ultra phos for the first time, and it look very different from all other P04 remover media in the market here. Looking more like a biopallet but it weight much heavier. However i like it when i need not flush and flush the media again before use .

Finally decided to add some replica rock to help improve the look of the tank, i am not a fan of replica rock but i must admit that it really look nice and easy to scape your tank with some of it.

Got hold of a nice pcs of replica rock measuring about 3ft x 2 ft x 2.5 ft from a reefer friend to make up of the scaping headache .

The " Old " look of the tank before the additional of the replica rock

And the " New" look after adding the replica rock on the left. Of course together with some new coral. What do you guys think ? Does it look better ?

Screen shot of the Apex controller on the browser. Note that i am not running a ORP probe which is why the ORP is so high.
