I have 1 clown and don't want a 2nd clown. What else could I put in my 15gallon?

I was going to say a clown pair. But...

I'll still suggest it. Sure theyll do alright alone but they're not solitary fish by nature. And a clown pair is fun to watch. In a small tank you can't do much better imo.

Other than them id add a prawn goby if you're going with sand.

might be kinda restricted to that size, but sapphire damsels (very passive), firefish (passive as well), and some types of gobies would do well in your tank!

I say not another clown because the female I have now killed the Male so I don't think another is a great idea

a clown will be fine without other clowns.

Other options include: clown goby, neon goby, watchman goby, a group of barnacle blennies, a stigmatura blenny, a group of trimma or eviota gobies, a possum r pink streak wrasse.
