Hey guys,

Well, I’m in the middle of attempting my least-favorite task of this whole hobby. Yes, aquascaping. lol Decided to set up on the fireplace so I could easy switch things around as needed. It’s not the best but it’s my best. :) Will be gluing everything with super glue gel once it’s final. I welcome any/all feedback, good or bad. Thoughts?

Use mortar to hold it together
Create smaller structures that can be moved easily by one person.
BRS has a few videos of how to do this
Having caves will hopefully reduce fish aggression
Don’t create any dead zones by pushing it against a wall
Don’t put it to close to the glass

Much appreciate the feedback! Good advice. Thankfully, I’m kinda OCD about leaving ~2” of space on all 4 sides just in case I need to clean the sand due to the unfortunate algae situation.

Also, it’ll be done in 4 separate chunks so yes, I should be able to move the structures, if needed.

Thanks again!
