1700 Gallon Former Reef converted to Freshwater Planted

For many years this was a full reef tank. About 5 years ago I converted it to a freshwater planted tank with some rare fish-Golden Gars and stingrays. Just thought I would share an update here.

The only thing I can say is that that tank would make an awesome saltwater tank!

It was a blast as saltwater-but very expensive.

the gars get fed shrimp and Tilapia.

They eat like a horse! I had a platinum one- ate as much as all my other fish combined. I was glad when it found a new home.
