I use the 2 part 2 little fishies a and b. I buy the gallon bottle, because it’s cheaper. It lasts me over 4 months and it’s now almost finished. I’m testing the calcium and alk, and it’s getting higher and higher by the weeks. I lowered the dose, but the level is still rising. It was 420 and now it’s 480 cal. Alk is around 8-9.

I feel like I should add that the caps are left opened so the dosing pump can get in. Maybe the water is evaporating and the calcium is being really concentrated at the bottom???

I dose 26 ml of each bottle everyday. My tank is 300 gallons and I have 2 small clams and 4 lps corals. Very little coralline algae.

Is this normal? Should I buy the smaller bottles until my tank is more demanding? Maybe I should cover the tops of the bottles? Should water even evaporate from the mixture?

Someone help me.

All liquids evaporates.

I am not sure how the that two part works but I will bet my money on your doseing more than needed.
