I am an idiot.

I am preparing the jugs of calium, alk and mg.

Calcium and alk went fine.

then when I made the mag, I used a 20 oz pouch instead of the larger 1 gallon. I wasn't paying attention and did not read to the very end.

How can I fix this?

I was reading the dosing instructions.. dose calcium and alk. when the jugs are gone, then dose the 20 ml of magnesium. this is where I got confused and used the 20 ml bag

Can you clarify exactly what you've done? You mixed what into what? I've very familiar with the recipe (I designed it), but I just can't tell exactly what you mean.

Did you dose it, or just mix it?

It sounds like you mixed an amount designed for 20oz of water in 128 oz of water. If that's the case you would need to dose about 5 times as much of the "DK" mixture. Or you could add 4/5ths more of the amount designed for a 1gal jug.

I used the smaller packet (made for 20 oz of water) in a 1 gal jug mixed with RO water, instead of using the larger packet made for 1 gal jug.

thank you, I will dose 5x when I am ready to. I don't want to use the other mixture yet so I can do it right next time.

Also, I believe it's 20 oz of mag per gallon of the alk/ca mix, not 20ml.
